The question today is: Which books are at the top of your list to be read this year (new or old releases)?
Here is my list:
.- The sisterhood of the travelling pants by Ann Brashares. I heard of this one because of the movie. Now it's at the top of my TBR pile waiting for me :)
.- Pride and prejudice by Nancy Butler. This is a graphic novel of Pride and Prejudice. I hope I liked it.
.- Paranormalcy by Kiersten White. Very excited about this one. I think I'm going to love it :)
.- An abundance of Katherines by John Green. I took a look of the book and I believe it's going to be very funny. I don't know.
.- Matched by Allie Conde. I heard good things and bad things about the book. We'll see :)
.- Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman. I love Neil Gaiman so I don't think it let me down.
.- Divergent by Veronica Roth. Very excited about this one I've heard only good things about this book.
.- Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver. Since I loved Delirium I can't wait for reading this one.
.- Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare. I'm reading Clockwork Angel and I like it. Now I want to read this one :)
.- The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. I've heard only good things about this one, so I want to read this year.
.- Across the universe by Beth Revis. Again, I've only heard good things about this book, but I can't still find it in my library. I have to wait :(
.- Solar by Ian McEwan. This one I think it's in my bookshelf forever. I think it's time to read it.
.- Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. I bought this one and I'm putting off all the time. I think it's a pity because it seems the book is really good.
.- Hush, hush by Becca Fitzpatrick. Another book I want to read this year.
.- Lola and the boy next door by Stephanie Perkins. Since I looooooved Anna and the French kiss I can't wait for reading this one.
.- Paper Towns by John Green.I read just a bit of this one and I laughed so I think it's going to be great . I can't wait.
.- Dubliners by James Joyce.
.- Cranford by Elizabeth Gaskell.
.- Emma by Jane Austen. I was putting off this one forever and I think this year it's the year when I finally read it.
.- One hundred years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez. I have this book since 1998 or before I think it's time to read this classic.
I can go with this list forever because there are such nice books outside waiting for us to read them but 20 I think it's OK, right? :)
