March TBR: How I did it :)

Hi everyone!!! :)

This is the last day of the month so it's time to share with you what books I've read in March. This is an idea hosted by Misty over at The book rat.

This is what I intend to read this month:

- Mort by Terry Pratchett. Well, I hope to read this one at least. I've already started it and I'm enjoying it so far. Very funny.
- Across the universe by Beth Revis. I've heard only good things about this one and I decided to buy it. I've just read the first lines and it sounds good. I hope I like it.
- Lola and the boy next door by Stephanie Perkins. I've also heard good things about this one so I hope to enjoy reading it.
Maybe:
- Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman.

And this is what I've read:

-Mort by Terry Pratchett.

Puff, this month has been horrible. I've only read one. At least, I liked Mort although I was a little disappointed with the end of the book.

Well, this is me. I hope I'll do better next month. What about you? I'm sure you did better than me.

hosted by: The Broke and the Bookish

Today it's about what books I'd play hooky with and here is my list:

1.- Anna and the French kiss by Stephanie Perkins. The perfect book to spend a nice day just reading :)

2.- An abundance of Katherines by John Green. It's always a pleasure to read John Green, so I think it would be great to have one of his books while I was playing hooky.

3.- Coraline by Neil Gaiman. I really love this book and I think it's a great company when you have nothing to do but read :)

4.- Scones and sensibility by Lindsay Eland. The perfect book for a day you don't want to do much but goofy around.

5.- One day by David Nicholls. A little drama but it would make you to forget about your life.

6.- Bake Sale by Sarah Varon. Funny story which will make to enjoy the day :)

7.- Paranormalcy by Kiersten White. This book contains everything all together, so it's perfect to spend time playing hooky with.

well, this is me but what about you?

It's Monday! What are *you* reading?

                                     hosted by: Book Journey

Hi everyone!!! :)

Today it's Monday and I'm happy to share with what I've read last week, what I'm reading now and what I intend to read next.

Last week I've finished anything because The Hunger Games is very thick (454 pages) and I couldn't finish it. Maybe next week.

Now I'm reading The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I've read almost 150 pages and it's really good. It's very similar in some aspects with other books I've recently read but it has other things that make you unable to put it down.

Next in my pile: Lola and the boy next door by Stephanie Perkins. Very excited about this one :)

Well, this is me but what about you?

Book beginnings :)

                                        hosted by: Rose City Reader

How to participate: Share the first line (or two) of the book you are currently reading.

Hi everyone!!! :)

This week I've started reading The Hunger Games and I really like it. Although it's similar to other books I've recently read, this one has some differences which makes it special.
Here is the first line:

"When I wake up, the other side of the bed is cold"

So far, this book is really good. I recommend to all of you but I'm sure that most of you have already read. Yes, I'm a bit behind on my reading :(

Well, this is me but what about you?

hosted by: The Broke and the Bookish

Hi everybody!!! :)

Today Top en Tuesday is about what ten books are on my spring to be read list and these are my books:

1.- Lola and the boy next door by Stephanie Perkins. I've heard this one was good, so I put the first one in my Spring to read pile.

2.- Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman. I've heard this one was really strange and peculiar. Since I like to read different genres I can't wait to read this one. Besides, I love all Neil Gaiman books so I don't think this one lets me down.

3.- Across the universe by Beth Revis. I've heard this one is really really good, so I want to read this one right away.

4.- The help by Kathryn Stockett. I want to read this one since people loved it.

5.- Supernaturally by Kiersten White. I loved the previous one and I hope I love this one too :) We'll see.

6.- The statistical probability of love at first sight by Jennifer E. Smith. Everybody was really excited about this one, so I couldn't help buying it.

7.- Nick and Norah's infinite playlist by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan. I haven't read anything of these authors but I read the plot of the book and I think I'm going to love it. At least, I hope so.

8.- Sister red by Jackson Pearce. I've heard different things about this one so let's give it a try :)

9.- Paper Towns by John Green. Well, I started this one but it seems to me that it's a bit different than other books.

10.- Last but not least Emma by Jane Austen. I am always put off this one, so I think I'm going to read soon.

Well, this is my list with these amazing books, but what about you?

It's Monday! What are *you* reading?

                                                  hosted by: Book Journey

Hi everyone!!! :)

It's Monday and I want to share with you what I read last week, what I'm reading right now and what I want to read next.

Last week I finished Mort by Terry Pratchett. I've enjoyed reading it but the end of the book was disappointing. I hoped Terry Pratchett gave some details about something but he didn't and that's why I didn't like the end. Everything happens so quickly that I have time to enjoy it :(

Now, I'm reading The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I've just read a bit so I don't know if I'm going to enjoy as much as people enjoyed it.

Next in my pile is Lola and the boy of next door by Stephanie Perkins. Everybody liked it so I'm very excited to read this one.

Well, this is me, but what about you?

It's Monday! What are *you* reading?

                                                     hosted by: Book Journey

Hi everybody!!! :)

I hope you have had a wonderful weekend! :)

Today I want to share with you what I read last week, what I'm reading and what I intend to read next.

Last week I didn't finish anything. I tried to read as much as I could but, yes, maybe next week.

This week I'm reading Mort by Terry Pratchett. Really, really happy with this one. It's very funny and witty. The only problem with this book is sometimes I have to look up many words in the dictionary and that makes me feel sad and disappointed. But, apart from that, I'm really really enjoying it :)

Next in my pile Lola and the boy next door by Stephanie Perkins. I've heard only good things about it, so I'm really excited to read it :)

Well, this is me but what about you?

Top Ten Favorite Covers

hosted by: The Broke and the Bookish

Hi everyone!!! :)

Today it's about my top ten favourite covers and here they are:

So beautiful did it seem to me that I bought the book :)

This one is really beautiful too

I think this one is a graphic novel. I hope the rest of the pictures are as beautiful as this one.

Another one that I consider very beautiful. Every time I stop by a book store I look the cover just for a moment.

Another one that I like it. I like the background, very creepy.

This one I like it because of the signs. I don't know why but I like seeing signs in streets.

Another cover that I liked so much that I decided to read the book. I like that the cover is related to the book. In many cases it hasn't relation at all.

Very curious cover. thanks to this cover I want to read it :)

All the covers of Paranormalcy series are really cute but this one is my favourite.

Last but not least, Hex hall covers. I love all of them:)

Well, this is me but what about you?

It's Monday! What are *you* reading?

                                                  hosted by: Book Journey

Hi everyone!!! :)

It's Monday so it's the perfect time to share with you what I read last week, what I'm reading right now and what I'm going to read next.

Last week I didn't finish anything, I've just stopped reading The boyfriend list by E. Lockhart. I stopped reading not because I didn't like it. It was because it was giving me a bad time and I wanted to start punching faces. Seriously, I want to read it but I'm going to wait, at least until I calm down :)

Now I'm reading

- Mort by Terry Pratchett. I am finding this one very very funny but it's a pity I always have the dictionary to hand. I recommend this one to everyone because it's really good and I'm laughing a lot.

- The hunger games (the first book) I've just started reading it and I like it.

Next in my pile

- Lately I'm changing my mind up a lot  about what to read next but I think my next book will be Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman.

Well, this is me but what about you?

Book beginnings

hosted by: A Few More Pages

How to participate: Share the first line (or two) of the book you are currently reading.

After finishing Matched by Ally Condie, I had not been able to grip any story. Not until now that I've started reading Mort by Terry Pratchett. I've only read fifty pages but I really really enjoy it. I think it's the first time I'm really enjoying reading one of Terry Pratchett's book. It's not because I don't like Terry Pratchett books, it's because I have had to look up so many, many words in the dictionary that in the end I gave up it.

Well, here is the first line of the book

"This is the bright candlelit room where the lifetimers are stored"

Wow, it's really well- written and since you start reading it you want to read more. So far, I've laughed a lot because it's very humorous.Terry Pratchett is a genius :)

Well, this is me but what about you?

This idea is hosted by Misty over at The Book Rat.

It's the first of March so it's time to look in my shelves what books I'm going to read this month. This month I am not very sure what I'm going to read because I'm not in the mood to read the books I've bought but I think I'll read:

- Mort by Terry Pratchett. Well, I hope to read this one at least. I've already started it and I'm enjoying it so far. Very funny.

- Across the universe by Beth Revis. I've heard only good things about this one and I decided to buy it. I've just read the first lines and it sounds good. I hope I like it.

- Lola and the boy next door by Stephanie Perkins. I've also heard good things about this one so I hope to enjoy reading it.

Maybe:

- Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman.

Here is the list of books I wanted to read in February and how I did it.
