June TBR: How I did it

 Hi everyone!!! :)

Well, today is the last day of the month so it's time to look what books wanted to read and what books managed to read in the end.

This idea is as always hosted by Misty from The book rat.

These were the books I wanted to read:

And these are the books I read

I always like Agaha Chrisie books, but although this book was fine I've liked others more. I think it's because I have to read almost 100 pages until the murder happens and besides, Poirot doesn't appear until almost the end. But the ending as usual is really good.

At first I really looooooooooooooved this book, but as I turned the pages I was less and less interesting in the story of some characters. I really loved the story of the main character although when everything is solved it let me down.

Well, this is me, but what about you? I'm sure you did better. Let me your link and I'll check it.

TGIF: Best I've Read So Far

                                 hosted by : GRreads!

Hi everyone!!! :)

Today the question is:

Which top 3 books are the best you've read so far this year?

Well, this question is a bit tough for me because all the books I've read this year are really cool, but here they are:

I really loved reading this book because it's really really funny. The main character is sarcastic, brave, she makes jokes, she is not afraid of taking risks. I think Kiersten White makes an excellent work because it's very difficult to make somebody laugh, especially when you can't use the intonation to make the statement funnier, and I promise you that I laughed a lot reading it.

Plus in this book appears Lend, one of the characters which is my literature crush :) He's AWESOME. He is smart, funny, intelligent, cute, yeah, perfect ;)

Stephanie Perkins has a gift to tell stories. I've read this one and Anna and the French kiss and in both cases I started reading them and felt that I was so inside of the story that I didn't realise that I was turning pages very quickly. Well, in this book took more time to me to get into the story, but I liked more than the Anna and the French kiss.

I liked the story because it was very romantic, believable and common story. Besides, I really liked Lola who had her own personality. It is a good message for teenagers to tell them that be yourself and people will like you and yes, guys too.

Last but not least The statistical probability of love at first sight. I liked this one as Lola because it's very romantic although don't get me wrong they are totally different books. The approach is totally different which is what these two books are so amazing.

I liked this one because apart from girl meets guy, there are other topics which are very interesting. It's not only the idea of a possible romance between a girl and a boy, the book is more than that.

Well, this is me, but what about you? What are the best books you have read so far?

What's next?

Hi everyone!!! :)

Some weeks ago I saw in Comfort books this meme and I realised that I also wanted to participate.

It is hosted by IceyBooks and the meme consists in every Thursday you select from 3 to five books that you want to read but you can't decide what read next. You post the cover or just the titles and ask readers to vote which one they prefer. Cool huh?

Well, here are the books I can't decide what read next.

Since Ray Bradbury died the 5th of June I want to pay him tribute reading one of his most famous books and which by the way I haven't read yet.

I've read in some book blogs that this one would be a perfect read for the summer. I don't know it's because the story happens in the summer or it's because it's a light read adequate for this high temperatures, the thing is  everybody is saying only good things about it and now I can't decide :(
Also, I have this one in mind because some people told me and shared in their blogs that this book was really really funny and entertaining.

And last but not least, Dash & Lily's book of dares. I really enjoyed reading Nick and Norah's infinite playlist by the same authors (which by the way I highly recommend to you) and I thought that maybe this one would be a good read too.
I think the four of them are really great books that's why it's really hard for me to decide, so if you can help me out here. Thanks a lot!!!! :)

Well, this is me and if you have the same "problem" as me leave your link in the comments and I'll check your list.

A late wrap-up read-a-thon

Wicked Wildfire Read-A-Thon
hosted by: Kindle fever and My shelf confessions

Hi everyone!!! :)

From the 20th until 23rd of June I was participating in this read-a-thon. I wanted to read so many books or at least one, but as always something happens to me that I am unable to read very much.

In this read-a-thon I could read

Well, not the whole book, just the half of it. It is interesting as all the books by Jonathan Safran Foer, but in some parts it's sooooooooooo disgusting that I have to make an effort to eat something. Now the only thing I can think when I eat is: puagh!:(

Also, I could manage to read like 30 pages of this book It's a great read and I recommend to all of you. If you have already read Neil Gaiman's books, I assure you that you are going to love this one :)

Well, this is me, but what about you?

It's Monday! What are *you* reading?

                                hosted by: Book Journey

Hi everyone!!! :)

Today I want to share with you what I read last week, what I'm reading right now and I want to read next.

Last week I didn't finish anything :( This what is happen when you are reading several books at the same time.

This week I'm reading

I like how Jonathan Safran Foer writes, so I was curious of knowing about his vegetarianism and his approach to this matter. So far I like because he has read a lot about it, but sometimes it is a bit disgusting.

Wow, this book is AWESOME!!! :) I highly recommend it because it's very entertaining, funny and you just turn pages so quickly. I love it.

 Next in my pile
I'm changing my mind about what I'm going to read next every minute since I've bought some new book and borrowed two books from the library.

I think this book is the perfect summer read and I think I'm going to enjoy it very much since I loved the previous. I hope it won't let me down.

Well, this is me, but what about you?

Sundays in bed with ...

                              hosted by: Midnight Book Girl

Hi everyone!!! :)

Today I stay in bed with this book.

I wanted to read something different, specially something which was non-fictional and interesting. I was reading Extremely loud and incredible close when I came across with this interview of Foer. I liked the way he put the idea of vegetarianism and why he decided to be vegetarian. I am not vegetarian and I don't think I'd become vegetarian, but still I wanted to read it because I was curious about the topic and how he'd explain it. The book is very interesting so far. I love when he talks about his family and his customs. I recommend it.

Well, this is me, but what about you?

TGIF: Authors Are Our Celebrities

                                   hosted by: GReads!
Hi everyone!!!

Today it's Friday and the question is:

Have you ever contacted an author you admired? How did that experience go?  If not, which author would you love to have a chat with?

Unfortunately no. I have never met an author I admired, but I have one I would like to talk to
Yes, John Green. I think he's funny and interesting and a person who is easy to talk to, so if I was very nervous, he would say something funny to calm me down.

Well, this is me, but what about you?

Top Ten Books On My Summer TBR List

hosted by: The Broke and the Bookish

Hi everyone!!! :)

Today I want to share with you my TOP TEN BOOKS ON MY SUMMER LIST. Well in this case are 9, but anyway ...

I was reading Extremely loud and incredible close by Jonathan Safran Foer when I came across with this interview he explains why he doesn't eat animals. I love his ideas and that's why I want to read this book. Really excited! :)

I don't know in which book blog I've read this one was perfect for summer read, so now I get excited to read it. I think it won't let me down.

I've read the first book and I loooooooooved it. I think it's the perfect read for summer, so I've just added to my list.

I've read Nick and Norah's infinite playlist and I really really really looooooooooooooooove it. It was AMAZING! This one is written by the same authors that Nick and Norah so I hope I enjoy it too.

Misty from the book rat is hosting another great Jane Austen read-along. This time is Persuasion which by the way I haven't read yet. I've heard this one is really good, so I can't wait.

I've heard nothing but good things about this one. I've heard it's funny and interesting. I haven't read anything about Libba Bray so now I'm curious.

I've read only a few pages and WOW, it was AWESOME! I decided to put it off in order to read Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman too.

Well, this is me, but what about you?

It's Monday! What are *you* reading?

                               hosted by: Book Journey

Hi everyone!!! :)

Today it's Monday and I want to share with you what I finished last week, what I am reading right now and I want to read next.

Last week I finished

I liked the book, but I didn't love it. I think it's because the case doesn't start until page 80 or so and Poirot appears just at the end. It was interesting and I recommend it if you like mystery books as much as I do, but I've liked more other Agatha Christie's books.

This book is very different from other books I've read in my life. I fell in love almost immediately, but unfortunately as I passed pages I lost interest in the story. I think it's because I liked more the stories of one character than the others and I didn't know why Foer was telling me about others characters.

There is a "mystery" in the book and it disappointed me. I thought it was something else.

 Now I'm reading

Wow! This book is AMAZING. I've just started and I love it.  It's very surprising and you want to know more and more. I can't barely put it down :)

Next in my pile
This book is a retelling of Little red riding hood. I love the idea and I really love the cover although I heard that they have changed.

Well, this is me, but what about you?
