I have totally abandoned this blog and that is a pity. I want to write it again and have nice chats with you about books :)
Today I'm going to tell you about the books from my childhood I would love to revisit. I have only found 9, but I'm sure I have more.
Here they are
Pelines by Gloria Fuertes. This book is one of my favourite books when I was a pre-teen. Every time I felt sad or unhappy, I read it and I felt better :) It's about this boy who is raised by his aunts and honestly, I don't remember more. The only thing I remember is that the whole book is told in verse. Cool! :)
An adventure in Seville by Ferrandiz. This is a book that I loooooved when I was a child. Sometimes I had arguments with my sister because my sister and I wanted to read it at the same time. No wonders why, there's fairies, magic and dancing. What else a child can ask? The story is about a little woman who is given magic castañuelas. If she plays them, everybody starts dancing although they don't want to. At the beginning, if I remember correctly, she uses in a wrong way, but in the end she uses so the good can win the evil.
Sagittarius Serving
(The Zodiac Club #6) by
Joanna Kroll. I'm Sagittarius that's why, I guess, my parents gave me this book. It's the story about a tennis player who starts to become a star. I really liked it, I felt related in some ways with the main character. It was fun to read!
The adventures of the black hand gang by Hans Jürgen press. This book was also fun to read. Every chapter you have an illustration and the story and you have to solve some mystery looking to the illustration. Cool, eh? You turned the page and you found the story where they told you if you were right and another illustration where you had the next mystery. I looooooooved this book :)
The witch's handbook by Malcolm Bird. Another awesome book I found when I was a child. It's full of illustrations and the story and recipes of witches. I really enjoyed the book no matter if I had to go to school, I always wanted to read it and it never let me down.
Telephone tales by Gianni Rodari. I remember reading this one when I was little and I didn't understand. One day I was sick and I decided to read and I really enjoyed it. It was funny. I guess the first time I was too little to understand it.
Momo by Michael Ende. I have read this book twice, but I don't remember much of it since I read it long time ago. I want to re-read it to see what I think about it now that I'm an adult.
This is my pile, let me know what books you have decided to pick.
