Dewey's read-a-thon: the end

Hi everyone!!! :)

How is it going??? are you still up? Were you be able to read all your books?

In my case, this is the most strange read-a-thon I've been.  Because the things were very different I expected.

First of all, I always enter in other blogs and meet other people, eat chunk food, sleep at night and when I wake up, the read-a-thon had already finished. But this year, I grabbed my books and I only want to read, read, read. maybe it's because I hadn't finished any book in September, so maybe I was in withdraw. I tried to know other blogs, but since I'm following like 30 (maybe more) or so, I was engaged enough with the old ones. Plus, I am also belong to Booktuber community so when I took a break I watched videos about books.(yes, I am more obsessed with books than I thought at first. So, all the read-a-thon I was juggling with reading blogs, watch videos, read and see what other people was reading on Twitter. I tried to follow everything, but I couldn't do properly and the time flew very quickly. Fortunately this morning I woke up at 10 (the read-a-thon in my country ends at 2 p.m.) and I have the chance to read more.

My last report :)

  1. Which hour was most daunting for you? Mmm one a.m. I was feeling really exhausted
  2. Could you list a few high-interest books that you think could keep a Reader engaged for next year? Yep! Midnight in Austenland by Shannon Hale. If you like romance and mystery, especially mystery. You're going to love this. Book, the meeting (it's how I translated) by Lygia Bojunga. It's about books and writing. It's amazing. Any graphic novel by Lewis Trondheim, especially Lapinot.
  3. Do you have any suggestions for how to improve the Read-a-thon next year? I like the way it is.
  4. What do you think worked really well in this year’s Read-a-thon? I loooove the videos. They are always fun and they cheer me up at lot while I'm reading.
  5. How many books did you read? 3 books and 1/2
  6. What were the names of the books you read? Midnight in Austenland by Shannon Hale, Book, the meeting by Lygia Bojunga, The book of mistakes by Gianni Rodary and My shadow in the distance by Lewis Trondheim.
  7. Which book did you enjoy most? They were very different books and I loved all of them, but I think the most I enjoyed was Book, the meeting by Lygia Bojunga
  8. Which did you enjoy least? Maybe the book of mistakes by Gianni Rodary, but not because it was a bad book.
  9. If you were a Cheerleader, do you have any advice for next year’s Cheerleaders?
  10. How likely are you to participate in the Read-a-thon again? What role would you be likely to take next time? I always enjoy participating in the read-a-thon, So I'll participate next time. Maybe reader again although I want to try to be a cheerleader. We'll see.
I had a great time and I hope you had too. It's a pity it ended :'(, but we'll have another one in April :D Until then HAPPY READING!!! :D

I'm going to bed now and I hope to get up at 11 a.m or so and at that time the read-a-thon is still going on, so I could finish another book.

Hoping you're doing great and you're be able to stay up all night I say to you Good night.

Wow, it's really hard for me to think in English right now, but anyway Have fun and Happy reading!!! :D

Dewey's read-a-thon

Hi everyone!!! :)

I don't think I'm going to be up all night. I think in one hour or so I'm going to bed.

1) How are you doing? Sleepy? Are your eyes tired? I was tired before, but since I starte My shadow in the distance by Lewis Trondheim I'm ready to keep going a little more.
2) What have you finished reading? I have finished two books. Midnight in Austenland by Shannon Hale and Book, the meeting by Lynga Bojunga
3) What is your favorite read so far? I loved both, but I think I loved Book, the meeting more.
4) What about your favorite snacks? Chocolate with almonds
5) Have you found any new blogs through the readathon? If so, give them some love! Actually no. I've been jumping from my old blogs, to twitter,to Youtube and I didn't enter in a new blog. Maybe tomorrow.

Dewey's read-a-thon. update 2

Hi everyone!!! :)

I'm still reading and have lots of fun. I have finished another book which is called Book, the meeting by Lygia Bojunga. OMG it was AMAZING! I really loved it because she talks about her relationship with books as a reader and as an author.I highly recommend it. I'm sure you'll love it.

Now I'm reading The books of mistakes and although I haven't read much, I like it.

I hope you're enjoying your reads. happy reading!!! :D

Dewey's read-a-thon: hour 9 update

Hey guys!

How is it going??? I hope you're enjoying you reads and keep going  :)

I have finished this book

Midnight in Austenland (Austenland, #2)

It was a great read. I highly recommend it to you if you love mystery and romance.

Now I'm currently reading Book, a meeting by Lygia Bojunga and OMG I love it.It's about the relationship the author has with books and apart the fact I love when authors talk about books, the author writes so well that it's really easy to read this book.

I hope to be able to finish this book in the next two hours. We'll see. Until then Happy reading to everyone!!! :D

Dewey's read-a-thon: Hour 1+ my booty

Hi everyone!!! :)

Let's get started it :)

1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today? I'm reading from Spain.
2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to? all of them, but maybe the graphic novel by Lewis Trondheim because I always love what Trondheim does.
3) Which snack are you most looking forward to? Mmm maybe chocolate.
4) Tell us a little something about yourself! Recently I realised I'm very sensitive to cold, so I'm always wearing more clothes than I'm supposed to.
5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to? This time I'm not going to eat much chunk food, since I've put on weight and I want to lose weight. Plus, I try to do some exercises, not to be always sitting down.

These are the books I want to read:

The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin. I have already started it. I have almost finished so it's perfect for this read-a-thon, not too much too finish and also since it's non-fiction i can put it between novels. I'm enjoying it very much. I highly recommend it :)

Midnight in Austenland by Shannon Hale. I have also started this one and I'm more or less in the middle, but I hope *fingers crossed* that I'm going to be able to finish in this read-a-thon. I really like it although I'm sometimes a bit bored :(

Lost in a good book by James Fforde. I have already started it, but I have only finished one chapter so I'm going to read it as much as I can, but I'm sure I'm not going to be able to finish. Too many pages left :'(

The book of mistakes by Gianni Rodari. I have only read one book by this author when I was a child and I loved it because it was funny. i think this book is the same, so I think I'm going to enjoy it very much. This book is formed by short stories and poems, so it's perfect for a read-a-thon.

Witty sentences. This book is a compilation of anecdotes. One of this anecdotes is for instance  Salomon judgement. It seems to me all of them are going to be very entertaining (i really love anecdotes) and they are very short stories (just a few lines) so I think I can also alternate them with other short stories or with a novel.

Book, a meeting by Lygia Bojunga. I found this book by chance in my library and I think I'm going to love it. The author talks about books as a reader and as a writer. It's also very short. Sooo it's the perfect read.

Sundays in bed with...

  hosted by: Midnight Book Girl

Hi everyone!!! :)

So today I've decided to be at home listening to music, working and, of course, reading. The book I'm currently reading is this one

The Happiness Project: Or, Why I Spent a Year Trying to Sing in the Morning, Clean My Closets, Fight Right, Read Aristotle, and Generally Have More Fun

and it's AWESOME! I am enjoying very much even though I'm not totally agree with all the ideas. The author, Gretchen Rubin started thinking about happiness and her own happiness and she decided to start a project. So each month she was going to focus on one a theme for instance January: energy, February: marriage, March: work and so and so on. and she is going to try to find problems to that aspect and how to improve them. For instance in January she realises she had to be more organised and try to rid of stuff she wasn't using. February she wants to know better her husband, how she could fight better and things like that. She talks about her own experience, but, as she says, we can learn from other people, and it's true since I'm learning from her experience. I highly recommend it because she makes you feel motivated and want to improve your live, she makes you think about I have never reconsidered before and she gives you advice. It's a great read and I'm enjoying very much.

You can check it out her blog about this project here and her videos about happiness here
