Book Beginnings with a series

                                         hosted by: Rose City Reader

Hi everyone!!! :)

So today I want to share with you the beginning of the book I'm currently reading. It's the fourth book in the series Bride Quartet. And here is its cover and the first lines:

Happy Ever After

 "Prologue

GRIEF CAME IN WAVES, HARD AND CHOPPY, BUFFETING AND breaking the heart"

Maybe if I had read this sentence, I would have never read the books. I think this sentence doesn't do justice to this book or the previous ones which are amazing, funny, enjoyable and very entertaining. I learned about this series a month ago (maybe less) and I've almost done with it. That shows you how much I've enjoyed with the series and how much I’m going to miss the characters. I really love how Nora Roberts writes and I think I'm going to try other books by her.

I highly recommend this series to you, if you like something funny, light and entertaining. The four books are great and I think they are perfect for the summer.

Well, this is my beginning, but what's yours? :)

  2. Oh no, that first line sounds so sad. I wonder what caused his or her grief? Thanks for sharing this title, I could use light and enjoyable (I noticed some time ago that I read a lot of heavy, serious titles, lol).

    1. I hope you enjoy them. As I said above, this line is serious, but the series is not.

  3. That does sound sad, and makes me want to know what happened. I like the use of language in this opening sentence. I hope you enjoy the book.
