It's Monday! What are you reading?

                                              hosted by : Book Journey

Hi everyone!!! :)

Today I want to share with you the books I read last week, the books I'm reading right now and what books I want to read next.
Last week I finished
Julia Y El Verano Muerto

Julia and the dead summer by Álvaro Ortiz. I really loved this graphic novel. It's about a couple who decides to adopt a child in a far far away place.
84, Charing Cross Road

84, Charing Cross Road by

Julia y la Voz de la Ballena

Julia and the voice of the whale by Álvaro Ortiz. The second part of the story of Julia, this time full of stories, mystery and pirates. I loved it too :)
The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian

The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-time Indian by Sherman Alexie.Sherman Alexie has become one of my favourite authors with this story about an Indian who decides to change from high school in his reserve to another high school in a town where the only people go are white people. Hard stuff telling with a tremendous sense of humour.

Beastly (Kendra Chronicles, #1)

Beastly by Alex Finn. Oh, My, God. I really really loved this book. It's a retelling of Belle and the beast and I think Alex Finn nails it :)

Now I'm reading

Cinder (Lunar Chronicles, #1)

Cinder by Marissa Meyer. Although I have read just a chapter of this book, I like it. I hope it improves and I end up loving the story.

Duchess of Bloomsbury Street
The Duchess of Bloomsbury street by Helene Hanff. Second part of 84 Charing cross road, this time in diary format. As it happened with the first part, I love it.

Northanger Abbey

  1. The only book on your list that I've read is the Austen, but it's been ages!

I hope you enjoy your current reads :)

  2. Every time I see someone listing 84 Charring Cross Road I kick myself that I haven't picked up a copy yet. It's one that's been on my radar for a good few years yet it always slips my mind. Gonna go onto the library website just now! Have a great week!
