Top Ten Books I Resolve To Read In 2013

hosted by: The Book and the Bookish

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!!! :D

Today I want to share with you the books I want to read this year.

Anna Karenina

Anna Karenina by Tolstoy. I haven’t read this classic yet and since I have seen the released of a new film, I want to read it. Besides, everybody who has read it says it's great. So now I can't wait to read it :)

Persuasion

Persuasion by Jane Austen. I wanted to read this one in the summer, but it was so hot that it was impossible. I haven’t heard nothing but good things about this book and I really want to know what’s about.

Paper Towns

Paper towns by John Green. I have already started reading it, but I didn't like how the beginning started, so, I left it again on my TBR pile again. Since then, I have heard a lot of people talking wonderful things about. So this year I'm going to give it another try.

Solar by Ian McEwan. I think this is the book I put off more times than any other book. I bought it when it had just been released and it is still in my shelf unread :(

Madame Bovary

Madame Bovary by Gustave Flaubert. It's a book which I’ve borrowed from my mother and I have on my shelf unread for a long, long time. I think it's time to read it.

Divergent (Divergent, #1)

Divergent by Veronica Roth. I have seen in many many blogs that many of you have enjoyed very much reading it. I'm curious what it is about and wonder if I'm going to enjoy it as much as you did.

Just ListenThe Truth About Forever

Sarah Dessen's books. I hope to read at least one book. I've seen that she is considered a great author by many of you and you love all their books. This year I want to know what is the fuss and if they are as they seem to be.

Emma

Emma by Jane Austen. I've tried to read it several times, but because of the vocabulary is so hard for me to understand, I always return it to my shelf :( This year I hope to read it *finger cross* :)

Great Expectations Our Mutual Friend

Books written by Charles Dickens. It's amazing that although I had to study Dickens, I haven’t read many works by him. Some weeks ago, I read a christmas carol and I liked it. This year I really want to read Great expectations and Our common friend by him.
Such a RushMajor Crush

Jennifer Echols books. I really want to read books by her since I saw how many of you looooove her books. It's impossible for me to find books by her in Spain, but I think I’m going to buy at least one because I’m really curious about this author.

Well, this is me, but what about you?

  3. I loved Anna Karenina. It's easily my all-time favorite book. Persuasion comes in at the top of the list as well.

Divergent is incredible. Echols is on my TBR list.

Dickens and Emma are both incredible.

I actually didn't like Madame Bovary all that much as I thought it was a watered down version of Anna Karenina, but I hope you enjoy it.

Happy New Years and happy reading!

    1. I'm glad that you loved Paper Towns. I started reading it and I didn't fall in love with it which is what happened when I read Looking for Alaska and An abundance of Katherines.

      We'll see :)
