The Sweetest Thing Review or How Jill Shalvis Blew My Mind

What would happen if you had to come back to the town you swore you would never set foot in it?

Well, this is what happened to Tara, the main character of this book

What is this about?

Tara's mother, Phoebe, has left her an inn in Lucky Harbour. But she is not alone, she has her sisters, Maddie and Cloe, to decide what to do with the inn .For the practical Tara, the decision is  simple:  improve the inn and sell it as quick as possible to run away from the town which brought her nothing, but problems and ... Ford.

My Thoughts:

This is the second book in the Lucky Harbor series. In the first book the main character is Maddie and in this book the main character is Tara, her sister.

So, when I discovered in this book I wasn't allowed to read Maddie's thought, but instead Tara's thoughts, I was a little bit disappointed. I wanted to know more about Maddie and her story and I felt I wasn't going to love this story. Happily, I was wrong.

I really love this story and I think I love even more than the first story in the first book in the series. 

What I like: I like the fact it's not necessary to read this series in a order although there is a connection between them. This means you can read only one book or you can read the whole books in the series. That's up to you. Although I think it's better to read them in order because there are points which start in the first book continue in the second book.

I like the main character isn't flat. Like: I'm Tara and I live now in this town. I like because she seems to be real, she has more than one thing in her life going on and it's clear she has a life apart from Ford or Maddie or Cloe. I imagine her in her day to day.

What I don't like: I don't like all the characters are like top models, specially the guys, all of them have a six pack abs and they are gorgeous. I like the idea and I like Jill talks about it, but when I've found it very frequently in the book, it annoyed a bit. I prefer the male character is cute and nice and has some charm more than if he has a six pack abs.

To sum up: I really really loved this story. I highly recommend it to you. It's very well-written and it's believable. The characters aren't flat, they are well-built.
