January TBR: The one with all the series

Hi everyone!!! :)

So this month I want to read books which are part of a series.

And here are the books:

Anne of Green Gables (Anne of Green Gables, #1)
Anne of Green Gables by L.M Montgomery. I am reading this book for a few months now and I hope to finish this month. the thing is I get bored that every chapter Anne gets in trouble, but I want to finish to read another book in the series since I know many things are going to happen.

Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. The same with this one. This one disappointed me a little, because at first it was pretty awesome, but then, it was so and so, but since a lot of people told me that the series improves later, I want to finish this one.

On the bright side I'm now the Girlfriend of a Sex God (Confessions of Georgia Nicolson #2) by Louise Renniso. I read the first book and I loved it. I hope that the same happens with this one. I hate when I have my hopes up and the book lets me down :_(

Lost in a Good Book (Thursday Next, #2)

Lost in a good book by Jasper Fforde. I've read the first book in the series and I liked it, so now I want to read the next book in the series and know what it's about this time :)

Living Dead in Dallas (Sookie Stackhouse, #2)

Living dead in Dallas by Charlaine Harris. I read the first book in the series and I loved it. I am reluctant to read this one because I really loved the first book and

Clockwork Prince (The Infernal Devices, #2) Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare. I really loved the first book in the series and I hope I loved this one too. We'll see.

Well, this is me, but what about you?

  2. The first 4 or 5 Sookie books are good, then they kind of drop off. The third book is my favorite.

  3. I completely empathise with the series reads! (I have an awful lot.)

Re: Vampire Academy: I actually though the first book was the strongest... and, right now, I am rather struggling through the 5th one myself. But keep at the first - I really did think it was stellar!

Re: Sookie books: Like Kimberly, I also thought the first 4 were the best - I couldn't really get into them after that. :/

    1. Ooo what a pity you couldn't enjoy with Sookie books as much as you did with the first 4 books :(
