Books I read in January: January wrap-up

Hey guys!!! :)

How is it going?

So, today I want to share with you the books I managed to read this month and they are not many :'( I don't know what happened this month, I believe is because I'm starting several books and left them unread . But anyway, here they are the books I read in January:

Anne of Green Gables (Anne of Green Gables, #1)

Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery. I liked this book, but I didn't love it. At first I felt in love with it, but later I thought it was OK. It's a great book and I think children would love it, but I got tired the stories were always about Anne's mischiefs. Well, at the end of the book the stories changed and I loved them.

The Sweetest Thing (Lucky Harbor, #2)

The sweetest thing by Jill Shalvis. OMG!!! I really really really really loved this book. It was soooooooooooooooo great!!! :) It's perfect. I loved it because it mixed romance, with serious stuff, but NOT in a soap opera way. It was well-written and very entertaining. Thanks Jill Shalvis for writing it and Kimberly of On the wings of a book for sharing in her blog.

Well, so this is my list. Yes, it's a bit short, but anyway I hope to read more books in February although the month is short :(

Wait! I read another one.

Wonderstruck

Wonder struck by Brian Selznick. I finished this morning and the book is a masterpiece. I highly recommend it. It's amazing. It's about two people, a boy and a girl. The story of the boy is telling through words and the girl through pictures. How cool is that, huh? Brian is also the author of The invention of Hugo Cabret, which I also recommend :)

So what do you think? Do you know the books? Do you want to read them? What have you read this month? Please let me know in the comments!!! :)

  2. I read and loved "The Invention of Hugo Cabret" and "Wonderstruck". I'm always amazing at how detailed Mr. Selznick's illustrations are- each one is like a painting,so full of characters and movement. I agree with you- his books are just so great.

    1. Yes. And what's more kids feel they've read a big book, so they will not be scared of thick books any more :)

Thanks for stopping by and joining my blog. Thanks a lot! :)
