Top Ten Books I've read in 2012

Hi everyone!!! :)

It's almost the end of the year, so it's the perfect time to recap what we've read and what the books which we read we enjoyed the most.

For me this topic has been a tough one because I have enjoyed the books I've read this year very much. It's all thanks to you that I have found sooo amazing books. Thanks a lot for your recommendations and your reviews about books because otherwise it would be impossible for me to find these books which turned to be awesome reads.
Thanks :)

And here is my list:

Nick and Norah's infinite playlist by David Levithan and Rachel Cohn. I really enjoyed reading this one. It was fresh and funny and entertaining and everything. I wanted to finish it because I wanted to know what happened at the end, but at the same time I didn't because the book was soooo good :(

Dash and Lily's book of dares by David Levithan and Rachel Cohn. I think I liked this one more than Nick and Norah's infinite playlist, if that could be possible. I think Dash and Lily are adorable and the fact that they are doing a game which involves books and write on a notebook, it made me love it. It was sooo great. Never in my life had I thought that I'd enjoy with a book this much.

The sisterhood of the travelling pants by Ann Brashares. Well, in this case, I don't mean the first book, but the whole series. The books were amazing. I really loved all of them because the stories they told were pretty good and entertaining. I also loved it because it's a normal story which happens a bunch of normal girls. I highly recommend you.

Lola and the boy next door by Stephanie Perkins. This one was a really great read. I like the story because it mixes the typical problems teenagers have plus serious issues. It's very well-written and although it has 350 pages you can easily read in one day.

The secret diary of Adrian Mole age 13 3/4 by Sue Townsend. I really loved this book because it was really really funny. I laugh very much while reading it. If you feel a bit down, it will cheer up a lot.

Women on the Edge #1

Women on the edge by Maitena. The books of Mateina are amazing. On them appears normal women with their complexes, their ideas, their problems but expressed in a very funny way. I really loved them and I highly recommend them. They are great! :)

American Born Chinese

American Born Chinese by Gene Luen Yang. This book is a graphic novel which tells the story of a Chinese boy living in America. At first, I was confused by the way the book was composed, but once I understood it, it was sooooo great that it's impossible for me to put it down.

An Abundance of Katherines

An abundance of Katherines by John Green. This book was really good. I loved the whole story because it was really peculiar. The characters are very smart and adorable. I really loved it.

Paranormalcy by Kiersten White. I am not a huge fan of vampires and werewolves (although I have read books by them and I really loved them), but this one was really really great. It was hilarious and Lend (my favourite fictional guy) is on it. He's handsome and clever and yeah, hot. Mmm I love him ;)

P.S. I love you by Cecelia Ahern. I really loved this one because it was funny, although there were some parts which were very sad. Although it's quite thick, I read it very quickly because it's very well-written and entertaining.

Well, this is me, but what about you?

  1. Paranormalcy was amazing! I didn't put it in my top 10 this year though because I read so many other amazing books that I had choose between.
I read PS I Love You last year, it's such a sweet, sad read but I love it.
    Great List :)

  6. Lola was definitely one of my favorite reads last year. It's so adorable. And can I just say... Cricket! I read Stephanie's first book, Anna and the French Kiss this year... it was a favorite too. I have Paranormalcy, but I have yet to read it. Why are there so many books to read and so little time?! :)

    Excellent list!

I highly recommend you Paranormalcy. It was very funny. Evie, the main character is like Buffy, she can kill you while she says a funny remark. And Lend, I love him. He is so cute :)
