Top Ten Authors I'm Thankful For

hosted by: The Book and the Bookish

Hi everyone!!! :)

Well, today I'm going to say which authors I'm grateful with.

Here is the list

John Green. Yes, he must be in this list :) I'm thankful because he is a very interesting person who makes me think and want to be a better person. Specially, I'm thankful to him for writing An abundance of Katherines. It's one of my favourite books. I love the way Colin is and the way he loves Maths. I really want to have the same feeling for maths, but anyway I really loved the book and I highly recommend to read it and watch the Green's channel.

Ann Brashares. I'm very thankful to this person because she changes me thanks to her books. Apart from the fact that the Sisterhood travelling pants series are really great books, Ann helped me to understand other people who are totally different to me and I didn't understand them. That gave me peace of mind.

David Levithan and Rachel Cohn. Thanks for writing my two favourite books: Nick and Norah infinite playlist and Dash and Lily' s book of dares. I think they know how a teenager feels at that time, they made me remember when I was a teenager and I liked staying outside with my friends and met a special guy :)

Maitena. Lately I was feeling a bit sad and her books cheered me up a lot. They are great and not only because they are funny but also because she knows how a woman feels and how to put in a stripe which I find it really hard. I felt identified with the women and their relationships with their boyfriend or husband. I highly recommend them, they are a great read.

Sue Townsend. I'm really thankful to her for her book The secret diary of Adrian Mole aged 13 3/4. Never in my life had I laughed this much while I'm reading a book. It was AMAZING :)

Stephanie Perkins. I really love her book: Anna and the French kiss and Lola and the boy next door. They were reads that I enjoyed very much and by the way I read quite quickly because they were easy to read.

Kazuo Ishiguro. I want to thank him for his book Never let me go. It made me think a lot about human beings, science and love. It's been a year since I read it and from time to time I use to thinking about it. I think it's because there are too many interesting ideas on it.

Marjane Satrapi. Conflicts are not easy to understand specially if you live far away from they're happening, but I think Marjane Satrapi made an excellent work with her novel Persepolis. It's funny and serious at the same time which I think it's really difficult to do. A quite good novel which I highly recommend.

Well, this is me, but what about you?
