It's Monday! What are *you* reading?

                                   hosted by : Book Journey

Hi everyone!!! :)
How is it going? I hope you guys are OK.

So, today I want to share with you the books I read last week, the books I'm reading right now and the books I want to read next.

Last week I finished 3 books

I really loooooooooooooooooooooved this book and I highly recommend it. The story is really simple. It's about a boy who decides to write a diary where he put his feelings, but the way is written is so hilarious than I couldn't barely put it down. I think I laughed every single page.

I really loved The uncommon reader by Alan Bennett. I read it in a day. But this one was a different kettle of fish. At first I liked, but I didn't like that the story wasn't  more about anecdotes about the lady in the van in a chronological order, I got the impression that it was a way Alan Bennet had to put his feelings and thoughts down. Maybe, I'm totally wrong.

This one let me down. I hoped to enjoy very much and although some pages I looooooooved because they were great, I hope the stories were explained with more detail and the point of the story, because in some cases the idea were exposed crystal clear, but in other cases I didn't know what to think.

  1. The Adrian Mole series is great! I've read the whole series, and hope you'll enjoy the following books as well!
    Happy reading, Leela!
Here is my It's Monday! post.

    1. Thank you!!! :)

I've started the second book and I was enjoying as much as did with the first one, so I left it. Maybe I'll try again later.

  2. The No1 Ladies Detective agency is sadly another book that has made it to the back of my wardrobe but I think it may make an appearance sometime next year!

Have a great reading week :D

    1. Oh, well I haven't read very much, so I don't know if I'm going to finish it, but so far I like it.

I hope you to give it a try.

      Happy reading too!!! :)

  3. I haven't seen the Adrian Mole series, it sounds great though :) I read The Uncommon Reader as well and I'm not sure how I felt about it quite yet, lol. It was good, just not what I expected?

Have a great week of reading!

    1. You too!!! :)

The first book I looooved it. I highly recommend it to you.
