Top Ten authors in a X genre

hosted by: The Book and the Bookish

Hi everyone!!! :)

Well, after a moment of thinking I believe that I'm going to choose authors in YA genre.

Here is my list.
John Green. I think this is obvious, he is very good telling stories about teenager in a witty and interesting way. I love him because he makes me spend a wonderful time reading his stories, even if I'm not a teenager any more.

David Levithan and Rachel Cohn. I love them and I love the books they wrote together, they are great. Unfortunately, I haven't read anything of them separately. I hope to remedy that soon.

Stephanie Perkins. This author is definitely one of my favourites. I love her style very much. She is coming to my country this week and I am not going to able to go to Madrid :_(

Ann Brashares. She is AWESOME! She gets me into the story from the word go and I can't barely stop reading it.

I wasn't a huge fan of book series when I decided to read the first book of the series of The sisterhood of the travelling pants, because they always disappointed me, but with this series that didn't happen. I really loved the first one I read it quite quickly and I loved the way she wrote it and how she talked about topics such as divorce, death and love in a natural way. Then, I read the second one. I though that the second book wasn't going to be as good as the first one and I was wrong!!! I really loved the second book too. Then, I borrowed from the library the 3rd one and I loved too and the same happened with the four one. so, yeah, I DEFINITELY recommend The sisterhood of the travelling pants.

Kiersten White. I think she's adorable, don't you? I love her writing and her style. I think it's really hard to make someone laugh, but she makes me laugh a lot very easily with her character Evie in Paranormalcy triology. I love her for that :)

Well, this is my short list, but what about yours?
