Top Ten Books That Make You Think (About The World, People, Life, etc.)

hosted by: The Book and the Bookish

Hi everyone!!! :)

Today I want to share with you my top ten books that make me think about the world, people, life, etc.

Here is the list

This one makes me think about love and death, funny and sad things. I like the way Cecelia presents a young widow and how she has to deal with her life, now the love of her life has gone. It made me think about what it would happen if my husband died and how people felt if they happened to them.

This one made me think about a lot of things: love, death, life. I believe that Morrie was a very wise man.

This one made me think a lot about people. I know how I'd react in one particular situation, but see how react other people who have a very different personality from me, made me understand people better. Thanks Ann !!! :)

With this book I learned how to be nicer with people because let's face it, the character is crazy, but she is sooo charming. No wonder how people like her.

The books of Safier makes me think about bad things can happen to us and how human beings have the power to change things. Don't give up!

Jane Eyre

This book makes me think about women, rights of women, men, couples and marriage. The message is simple: you can do whatever you want, you are strong, you don't need a man.

Recently I've re-read this book and I realised how similar it's our life nowadays to the book. It scared me because the book was written in 1950 and nothing of this (mobiles or internet) existed.

This one made me think about life. The things can happen to us can be horrible or incredibly good.

Well, this is me, but what about you?

    1. Thank you :) I think the film is more or less the first book in the series. So if you like the film, you probably like the books.

  3. I've seen The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight on a few lists today. It really made me think about forgiveness. I will be honest here, and say that I don't know if I could forgive my father if he did what Hadley's dad did.

    Great list.
