Top Ten Books I'd Recommend To Someone Who Doesn't Read X

hosted by: The Broke and the Bookish

Today it's ten books I'd recommend to someone who doesn't read YA novels. Since I am not a teenager or a young adult any more I didn't think this kind of literature could like me, and yeah, I love it :)

My recommendations are:

1.- Looking for Alaska by John Green. I've heard about John Green because of his vlog and then I've started hearing about his books. I want to read all of them because it seems really cool but this is so far the only one I've read. I liked it and I think that it would be nice to recommend this one for those that they never read anything about YA literature.

2.- Ender's game by Orson Scott Card. Mmm, this is one of my favourite books although I wouldn't recommend the rest of Ender series. I was reading this one and I thought: this is such an amazing book that I have to buy my own copy. So that was what I did and I don't regret it. This is a SUPERB book. I love it :)

3.- Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare. I love this book and I've enjoyed reading it soooo much that I'd recommend to anyone. This book is pretty good and I can't wait to have in my hands the second book of the series.

4.- Delirium by Lauren Oliver. Another great discover in 2011. I liked the book. I think it was well-written and the topic was so different from the rest books I've read so far. Amazing!

5.- The hitchhiker's guide to galaxy by Douglas Adams. As in the Ender's game case, this one is one of my favourite books but I didn't enjoy much with the rest of the books in the series. Still, I'd recommend this one. It deserves to be read.

6.- The golden compass by Philip Pullman. Another amazing book. I liked all the books in the series but I think this one is my favourite one :)

7.-Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater. I loved Shiver. One of my favourite books in 2011 although the rest books in the series didn't like it as much as this one.

8.- Anna and the French kiss by Stephanie Perkins. This is undoubtedly my favourite book in 2011. AWESOME!!! I love it. I'd recommend to anyone :)

9.- The vanishing of Katherine Linden by Helen Grant. Another great discover. I really really enjoyed reading this one, although I have to do it in Spanish :( two thumbs up!!!!

10.- Heist society by Ally Carter. I liked this book, although I didn't love it but still I think it's a good book to start reading YA books.

Well, this is me, but about you? :)
