Book beginnings

Today it's Friday so it's time to write the first lines I'm reading. For this Friday I'm going to share with you the first lines of Cat among the pigeons by Agatha Christie.

" It was the opening day of the summer term at Meadowbank school"

Mmm promising right? :) Normally I like Agatha Christie's books very quickly but in this case it's going in a slow way. We'll see.
